
The Rodger DeGarmo Memorial, a world team secondary qualifier in honor of the USA Weightlifting executive director who died of a heart attack in August 2007, began Saturday at the Olympic Training Center.
Olympian Kendrick Farris, the reigning 187-pound national champion, will lift at 1 p.m. Sunday. Action begins at 10 a.m. Admission is free.
